Yoga

Power & Vinyasa

Vinyasa yoga links breath and movement in a creative sequence of poses to foster connection between the body and mind. Our talented instructors each infuse their classes with their own sequencing, music, and spirituality. In every class, our instructors offer amplifications for a more challenging experience and modifications to make every practice accessible.

Slow Flow & Restorative

These mindful practices offer the time to slow down, unwind, and draw inward. These classes, usually offered in the evenings, involve longer holds, incorporate props for support, and guide you through gentle movements to leave your body feeling nourished and recharged.

Yin Yoga & Sound Healing

Yin Yoga is a slow, floor-based practice for deep opening of not only the physical body, but the thoughts and emotions as well. Yin poses often focus on hip opening, twists, and heart openers, to access hard-to-reach areas of stuck energy within the body. The sounds of Tibetan singing bowls will be included in the practice to help you open and release.

Breathwork & Meditation

Breathwork, or pranayama, calms the body and prepares the mind for stillness. We explore many styles of meditation, including guided visualizations, loving kindness, japa mala, and even past life regression.

Workshops & Ceremonies

We offer a variety of workshops to learn more about different aspects of yoga including alignment, history, philosophy, and advanced asana. We always begin and end with a sacred ceremony, incorporating mantra, cacao, and more.

Journaling & Reflection

An important principle in the practice of yoga is self-study, or “svadiyaya” in Sanskrit. We’ll give you a journal on day 1, and spend time in our journals throughout the week to reflect on your experience and the journey of self-discovery.

Experiences

Adventure

Our retreats are filled with adventure, no matter where we go. Whether it’s cliff jumping over a waterfall, taking a surf lesson in the ocean waves, or riding in a gondola over the city, you’re sure to try something new.

Nature

We always value and connect with our natural surroundings, wherever we are. We’ll bring you to all the best spots, like volcanic black sand beaches, natural swimming pools, and the gorgeous hikes through the mountains.

Excursions

All of our retreats include some excursions, and optional excursions you can choose to add on. These are trip dependent, but often include boat tours, city tours, and cultural events.

Cuisine

We provide all meals, ensuring you feel nourished and satisfied throughout your retreat. Our private chefs prepare healthy, vegetarian meals that highlight local flavors. We also enjoy select meals at local restaurants for a more immersive experience. We are always happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions or allergies.

Relaxation

Between all the adventure and excitement, we make sure you have plenty of time to rest, whether that means hanging by the pool, exploring on your own, or relaxing with a good book.

We want you to feel your best - body, mind, and soul. On every Wave retreat you’ll have the option to add massages and other spa treatments to enhance your wellness experience.

Community

Inclusivity

All bodies are yoga bodies. You are already enough. No matter your gender, size, age, race, or sexual orientation, you belong here, just as you are.

Connection

Amidst an abundance of profound shared experiences, meaningful connection is an inevitable part of your retreat. We find that the group that shows up is always exactly who is supposed to be there.

Giving Back

No matter where we go, we give back to the community and the sacred land we are borrowing - whether it’s cleaning up plastic on the beach, donating to a local organization, or working with a local conservationist to release baby sea turtles!
