Paddle Board Yoga Series
Three Belles Marina, Niantic, Connecticut
2025 Summer Series
The Experience
Join us on the water for a playful and grounding summer practice.
This local SUP Yoga series gives you the opportunity to reconnect with the retreat energy you love—right here at home. Held on the calm waters of Smith Cove in Niantic, Connecticut, each session blends mindful movement, nature connection, and community building. You’re welcome to join for as many or as few sessions as you’d like!
Each 2 hour event begins with a refreshing mocktail as you arrive, giving you time to settle in and connect with fellow participants. We'll go over the basics of paddleboarding and how to stay balanced, then paddle out to a still and peaceful spot on the water. We’ll move through an all levels vinyasa flow followed by a grounding nature meditation. The water offers a soft, ever-present challenge to your balance, allowing you to deepen your mindfulness and self-awareness. Whether you're new to SUP Yoga or a seasoned practitioner, you’ll have time to explore your practice and play with new poses, find stillness, or simply float with the rhythm of the water.
After class, we’ll return to shore for light, delicious pastries and a chance to relax and connect - the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends from past retreats, someone you’ll be traveling with in the future, or meet new faces!
Whether you’ve joined us on a Wave retreat before or are planning to in the future, this is your invitation to float, flow, and reconnect—with nature, with others, and with yourself.

We recommend wearing either a bathing suit that you’re confident in (you get it) or athletic shorts and a t shirt or tank top! Whatever you’re most comfortable in. There will be a spot to leave your shoes, keys, etc.
-
Not at all! All are welcome from complete beginners to experienced yogis and paddle boarders. All you need is an open mind! There will be modifications for every pose, and you are always in control of your own practice and encouraged to do what feels right for you. We’ll also offer amplifications for poses if you are comfortable on the board and looking for a challenge!

Yes! If you have your own paddle board you are welcome to use it and receive 50% off for the practice, just email us and we’ll send you the discount code to book.
If we have any extra anchors you are welcome to use one, but please know that we may only have enough anchors for the rented boards. We’ve practiced without them before with no issue, you might just drift a little!

We offer scholarships for all our retreats and events. If cost is a significant barrier, send us an email to request our brief scholarship application. We want yoga and adventure experiences to be accessible!
